Choose the right goal
Select Build muscle in the starter quiz and describe your experience. Someone returning after a long break may need a different starting point from a regular lifter. For this goal, PULZ looks for strength content instead of automatically substituting cardio when a suitable session is missing.
Start with technique
The library includes examples such as goblet squats, Romanian deadlifts, rows and presses. Open a short demonstration and check the exercise name and equipment. Ask a coach for feedback if a movement is unclear. Watching a video alone cannot confirm that your technique is correct.
Match the challenge to your circumstances
ACSM emphasises regular resistance training and adjusting load and volume to the goal. Training all major muscle groups at least twice a week is general guidance for healthy adults, not a reason to start with maximum weights.
Track more than one number
PULZ records completed sessions and minutes. These describe consistency, not direct muscle growth. Also pay attention to movement control and recovery. If your plan needs adjustment, open Contact and describe your goal and experience.
Is a longer workout always better?
Length alone does not show whether a workout suits your goal. Choose the time you have and check the content. If no suitable strength video fits, the app should show that gap rather than promise the same result from a random session.
