Prepare your space and equipment

Move objects you could trip over, check the floor and leave room for your arms and legs. In the app, choose Home and specify bodyweight, bands or dumbbells. This helps avoid suggestions for a cable machine you do not have.

Think about movements as well as muscles

Squats, presses and rows are examples of different movements in the library. Open a demonstration, check its equipment and choose a manageable version. A hammer curl needs dumbbells; a machine demonstration belongs in the gym. These examples help you navigate the library, rather than prescribing the same routine for everyone.

A short video helps with technique

A twenty-second demonstration shows one exercise. It is not a twenty-minute workout, and playing it does not automatically log activity. Pause the video and return to a movement when needed. For a complete workout, check the actual running time.

Consistency can start at home

ACSM describes resistance training using bodyweight, bands and weights. The approach should fit a person’s goals and circumstances. After exercising, save what you completed and use your history as a starting point next time.

Do I need to buy equipment before starting?

Not necessarily. First check the equipment-free options and the requirements of your chosen video. Do not substitute unstable household objects just to complete a particular routine.
